High Voltage Combined Instrument Transformers
We offer combined single phase instrument transformers up to 220 kV. The current transformer section is housed in the live chamber while the voltage transformer is placed in the lower tank. This helps reduce the cost by sharing a common porcelain housing and reducing the requirement for oil and mounting structures. Up to 5 cores can be accomodated for the current transformer up to a maximum current of 4000 A and 3 windings can be provided for the voltage transformer up to a maximum thermal burden of 2500 VA. The insulation is based on oil-paper combination. The oil impregnation is done under a high degree of vacuum with excellent monitoring and control of dissipation loss factor (tan delta). Conformance can be made in accordance to IS, IEC, BS and ANSI standards.
