High Voltage Current Transformers
Current Transformers (CTs) are manufactured for the range 400 kV through 11 kV voltage class. The CTs are of wound and outdoor type with either dead tank or live tank (head type) design. The insulation is finely graded and consists of oil-paper combination. The oil impregnation is done under a high degree of vacuum with excellent monitoring and control of dissipation loss factor (tan delta). All CTs are hermetically sealed, with either stainless steel bellows or nitrogen cushion. Conformance can be made in accordance to IS, IEC, BS and ANSI standards.
