High Voltage Transformers
Voltage Transformers (VTs), also known as Potential Transformers, are manufactured for the range 220 kV through 11 kV voltage class. The VTs are of outdoor type of either dead tank or cascade type design. The insulation is finely graded and consists of oil-paper combination. The oil impregnation is done under a high degree of vacuum with excellent monitoring and control of dissipation loss factor (tan delta). VTs are hermetically sealed with either stainless steel bellows or nitrogen cushioning as per customer specification. Conformance can be made in accordance to IS, IEC, BS and ANSI standards.
